The short version: Bulwark is self-hosted software. We do not collect, store, transmit, or have access to any of your data. Period.

None.

Bulwark is self-hosted software that runs entirely on your own infrastructure. We do not collect any personal information, usage data, telemetry, analytics, crash reports, or any other data from your installation.

2. Data We Store

None.

All data generated by or managed through Bulwark — including server metrics, database contents, credentials, configuration, logs, user accounts, and session data — is stored exclusively on your servers. We have no access to it.

3. Data We Share

None.

Since we do not collect or store any data, there is nothing to share with third parties.

4. No Telemetry or Tracking

Bulwark does not contain:

Usage analytics or telemetry
Crash or error reporting
Update checking or phone-home mechanisms
Cookies set by us (your self-hosted instance may use session cookies locally)
Third-party tracking scripts, pixels, or beacons

The software operates entirely offline after installation. No network requests are made to our servers.

5. AI Features (BYOK)

Bulwark's AI features use a Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) model. When you use AI features:

Your prompts and data are sent directly from your server to your chosen AI provider (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI)
We do not proxy, intercept, log, or store any AI interactions
We do not have access to your API keys
Your AI provider's privacy policy governs how they handle your data

6. Website (bulwark.studio)

The Bulwark marketing website at bulwark.studio is a static site hosted on GitHub Pages. We do not use cookies, analytics, or tracking on this website. GitHub may collect standard server logs as described in GitHub's Privacy Statement.

7. Your Responsibilities

Since all data resides on your infrastructure, you are responsible for:

Securing your Bulwark installation and server environment
Implementing appropriate access controls and authentication
Creating and maintaining backups
Complying with applicable privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) for any personal data you manage through the Service

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. Since we do not collect any data, we do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date.
